What is concrete-look?

The appearance of concrete, without your table being made entirely from concrete. Our concrete-look tables have a wooden base, onto which a thin layer of béton ciré (Leef-Beton) is applied by hand.

The handcrafted finish creates subtle variations in colour and visible trowel marks. This gives concrete-look its distinctive character and ensures that no two tables are exactly alike!

To protect the tabletop, it’s finished with a special coating. This makes concrete-look resistant to moisture, stains and everyday use. A practical material for a table that’s used and enjoyed every day!

The table base has a big influence on the look of your concrete-look table. Will you choose a real statement piece, or is plenty of legroom more important to you?

A steel table base creates a beautiful contrast with the concrete-look tabletop. You can choose from different shapes and powder-coated colours.

You can also opt for a tone-on-tone look with a concrete-look table leg. This creates a cohesive design, bringing the tabletop and base together as one.

Maintenance

Fortunately, a concrete-look table is easy to maintain. There are just a few things to keep in mind to help your table stay looking its best for as long as possible.

Cleaning

You don't need much for everyday cleaning. A soft, slightly damp cloth and some lukewarm water are usually enough. Afterwards, dry the table with a clean cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products and abrasive sponges.

How to prevent scratches and stains

Concrete-look is resistant to everyday use, but it's not indestructible. A sharp object or a grain of sand underneath a fruit bowl, for example, can cause a small scratch. That's why we recommend using coasters and avoiding placing hot pans directly on the table. It's also best to be careful with acidic liquids.

Extra protection

To keep your table looking its best, we recommend using our special concrete-look maintenance spray. It provides extra protection and helps make minor signs of wear less visible. Always clean the table thoroughly before applying the spray. This prevents dirt from getting trapped beneath the protective layer.
